After viewing our preliminary task we as a group encountered a few problems and a few positives. The class also analyzed our work and thought commonly of the three problems we spotted. These were;
1. We broke the one hundred and eighty degree rule on one occasion when the camera portrays Sheridan on the wrong side of the camera over my left shoulder. To avoid this problem in our future piece we will shoot the shot over my right shoulder to show Sheridan on the correct side of the camera.
2. Another problem that was spotted was the cutting of my hand when opening the door to the hall, as the shot hangs around for far to long and needs to be finely cut more. To stop this happening in the future we will edit our sequence to a much finer detail to avoid mistakes.
3. The third problem was we could have explored the one hundred and eighty degree rule in much more detail by adding a conversation to the sequence, and that is what we will do in future.
We also received some positive feedback such as;
1. Our shots were very well paced and we used transitions well.
2. Our storyline was clear and easy to understand.
3. Apart from on one occasion we kept to the one hundred and eighty degree rule consistently.
